LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- A longtime voice of NASCAR says the series new rules will pack the stands at Kentucky Speedway.

ESPN pit reporter Dr. Jerry Punch says the "shootout" style qualifying and new four round format for the "Chase For The Sprint Cup" will give fans something to watch. Punch told reporters in Louisville that Kentucky Speedway has seen good racing but the new format will increase the competition all weekend.

Track officials also announced they had renewed their partnership with Ford and have renamed the fall NASCAR Nationwide Race as the "VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300".
