I’m usually not one for architecture but a "future goal" on the Austin Texas Music Commission's docket is building a statue of Glenn Danzig, founder of the Misfits, - and to up the ante, he'd be riding a dragon.
A picture posted from a meeting held earlier this week held by the organization eloquently proposed a "Statue of Danzig riding a dragon welcoming visitors to the Red River Cultural District, a popular entertainment district in the city.
James Moody, the owner of live music venue The Mohawk in Austin, is the man behind the idea. he admitted the idea was mostly in jest, but it did make its way to the meeting's future goals list. "If they're willing to do it in gold, I'll submit it as a serious idea," he said.
